Vespera Terms of Use

By installing or using Vespera ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the app.

Vespera is published by Ropolabs. Use of the ropolabs.com website is additionally governed by the Ropolabs Terms of Use.

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU / UK) to create a Vespera account. If you are under the legal age of majority in your region, you may use Vespera only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and for all activity on your Vespera account. Notify us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

Vespera+ is an optional paid subscription processed by Apple through the App Store payment system. Subscription terms — including auto-renewal, free-trial conversion, cancellation, and refund policies — are governed by Apple. Manage your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

Vespera's free tier remains available without payment. Some features (multi-tradition view, unlimited saves, weekly story surface, scene mode, AI-personalised framing) are exclusive to Vespera+.

Refund requests must be made through Apple directly; we cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Vespera, except where permitted by applicable law.
• Attempt to bypass the subscription, ad, or rate-limiting mechanisms of the app.
• Use the app to harass, harm, or impersonate others.
• Use automated means to scrape, mirror, or interact with the app or its backend services outside normal app usage.
• Use Vespera in any manner that violates applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.

Scripture text shown in Vespera is drawn from public-domain sources or sources licensed for our use. Each translation is attributed within the app. If you believe content has been included in error, please contact us at [email protected].

Reflections you write within Vespera remain your own. You grant Ropolabs a non-exclusive licence to store, transmit, and display your reflections back to you across your devices. We do not publish, share, or analyse your reflections for any purpose beyond delivering the service to you.

Vespera is a contemplative meditation app. It is not a medical device, a therapeutic intervention, or a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis hotline.

The crisis-safety surfaces within Vespera provide region- appropriate referral information but do not constitute medical advice.

Vespera is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ropolabs and its officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of Vespera. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

You may stop using Vespera and delete your account at any time through the Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ropolabs is registered, without regard to conflict-of- law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Vespera after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
